Seedance 2.0
The ultimate choreography and tracking engine
What It Does
Seedance 2.0 is ByteDance's flagship choreography model. It takes the unparalleled full-body tracking of the 1.x series and upgrades the rendering engine to compete with Kling and Veo on visual fidelity. Previously, if you used Seedance, you traded face/texture quality for perfect body movement. Now, you get both. It handles extreme multi-axis motion — backflips, breakdancing, acrobatics — while maintaining high-resolution facial consistency and realistic fabric physics. Native 1080p, unmatched limb coordination.
Best For
Extreme acrobatics
Backflips, cartwheels, and parkour without the body folding into a pretzel
Professional dance routines
Intricate footwork and fast hand choreography rendered with exact precision
Fashion in motion
Runway walks where fabric weight, flow, and gravity react correctly to fast walking
Showcase Prompts
Copy these prompts to use directly, or tweak them to fit your needs.
breakdancer performing a complex windmill combo, neon lights reflecting on the polished floor
Extreme multi-axis body rotation
fashion model striding down a runway, heavy silk gown flowing behind her, camera tracks backward
Full body motion with fabric physics
parkour athlete leaps off a concrete wall, rolls on landing, and transitions into a sprint
Sequential athletic action
Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- The absolute best model for rapid, full-body physical movement
- Massive upgrade to facial consistency over Seedance 1.x models
- Perfect coordination between arms, legs, and torso during twists
- Native 1080p high-fidelity output
Limitations
- Currently limited to shorter durations compared to 1.5 Pro
- High credit premium for the rendering upgrade
- Requires very specific motion prompts to utilize fully
How to Use
Frame the full body
Do not upload a cropped chest-up shot and expect a dance routine. Upload a wide, full-body shot so the model has room to calculate limb arcs.
Write choreographic sequences
Break down the movement into beats. "Takes two steps left, spins rapidly, drops into a split." Treat the prompt box like a choreographer's notebook.
Test in 1.x, Render in 2.0
Because 2.0 is expensive, test your motion path using Seedance v1 (Free) first. Once the movement looks right, paste the exact prompt into 2.0 for the final 1080p render.
Prompt Tips
Specify body part coordination
You can explicitly tell the arms and legs to do different things. "Left arm extends while right knee raises." It will obey.
dancer leaps into the air, arms sweeping upward, legs split horizontally
Use dynamic camera tracking
Pair the extreme motion with a moving camera. "Camera rapid pushes in as subject backflips" creates incredible kinetic energy.
Pricing
Flagship pricing tier. 75 credits for 5s (1080p). Highly expensive, but cheaper than hiring a stunt double and a RED camera.
How It Compares
Seedance 2.0 vs Seedance 1.5 Pro
View1.5 Pro is for duration (12 seconds) at 720p. 2.0 is for maximum visual quality and complex 3D rotation at 1080p.
Seedance 2.0 vs Kling 3.0
ViewKling 3 is better at hand contact and micro-manipulation. Seedance 2.0 is better at gross motor skills — running, jumping, spinning.
Seedance 2.0 Summary
Seedance 2.0 is best for Extreme acrobatics. Its strongest advantage is The absolute best model for rapid, full-body physical movement, while the key limitation is Currently limited to shorter durations compared to 1.5 Pro. For lower iteration cost, validate prompts on free models first, then switch to this model for final renders.
